Hutto Hippo Photo Gallery

Located 20 miles northeast of Austin and about 10 miles east of Round Rock, the City of Hutto with a population of 1250 in 2000 is now around 5000. It's small town living but not too far out in the country. One of the things that Hutto is known for is its unique mascot - the hippo. Proudly displayed around town, this photo gallery captures several of the Hutto hippos including a 725-pound concrete hippo you can sit atop, a hippo sporting a bikini, a longhorn hippo, and numerous decorated 30-inch models.
