State Board of Education
There are 15 elected board members. Two districts serve the citizens of Travis County on the State Board of Education. District 5 is south of the river. District 10 is north of the river and includes Williamson County.Qualifications for the State Board of Education include U.S. citizenship, 12 months as Texas resident, 12 months as District resident, registered Texas voter, and 26 years of age. Members serve 4 year terms.
